Dear Williamson County non-profit Organizations,
Chaparral Women’s Club has been raising funds and offering countless volunteer hours to non-profit agencies in Williamson County since 1969. Last year, Chaparral Women’s Club was able to grant more than $44,000 to a number of local charities and scholarships. We would like to invite your agency to submit an application to receive funding in 2012.
To be considered for funding, please submit a cover letter, written on the agency’s letterhead, which briefly and clearly states all of the following:
1. Full organization name, mailing address and a contact name, email and phone number
2. Brief history of your organization and an overview of services provided
3. Mission statement
4. Description of the program for which funding is being requested
5. Specific amount requested and intended use (i.e. equipment, supplies)
6. Whether requested funds will be used exclusively in Williamson County
a. If not, give complete list of counties where the funds will be used.
8. Copy of the organization’s current tax exemption letter from the IRS
9. List of your current Board of Directors
10. Copy of your agency’s current budget
All requested information must be included to be considered for funding. Additional information may be requested as deemed necessary by our committee.
Applications must be postmarked on or before March 15, 2012. NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE DUE DATE. Please mail to:
